United States Pony Club
Board MemberAllie is the Regional Supervisor for the United States Pony Club, Southern California Region and Manager of Bridges Equestrian Riding Academy in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Allie manages the Bridges Equestrian Riding Academy’s 20+ horses, 100+ riders, and one of the largest Pony Club Riding Centers in the United States. She is co-organizer of the Pacific Indoor Eventing Show Series at Sycamore Trails Stables and an active board member of the United States Pony Club Show Jumping Committee. Allie is also the mother of high school freshman Madison Carpenter who will be representing her school in the OC Interscholastic Equestrian League this year.

Hunter/Jumper TrainerGwen trains locally with Jett Martin & Sean Leckie at Westgate Equestrian in San Juan Capistrano. Enjoys competing in the Hunter & Eq rings with her horse Leoville D (aka Lenny) at the beautiful Mission Viejo Riding Park as well as at other ventures around the county. Gwen is the proud mother of MaKenna Grierson who grow up riding & competing around the country in the jumper & Eq ring. MaKenna recently qualified for the College of Charleston’s equestrian team & will soon be competing for them.

Chamber LiaisonSusan is an avid western rider who boards her American Quarter Horse, Bentley, at Rancho Sierra Vista. Susan competes in Western Ranch classes and Reining. She enjoys Saturday night sorting competition where she and Bentley have the chance to play with cows and she can pretend to be a real cowgirl. Susan is also on the Board of Las Vaqueras Woman’s Riding Group. Susan came to the equestrian life a bit later than most, but has completely embraced the lifestyle-including opening a Western boutique in downtown San Juan Capistrano!

Board MemberAuburn is an upper level 3 Day Eventing rider and coach. Auburn also runs a San Juan Capistrano based Pony Club and is on the board of TROTT (Training Racehorses Off the Track). She also founded the Pacific Indoor Eventing Series of horse shows and is an ambassador for this extreme sport. Lately she has become a serial small dog rescuer.

Board MemberSusan is an active Las Vaqueras board member. She is a western ranch and trail competitor and the proud owner of a mighty fine Quarter Horse, Dun it Flirtin aka Dino. He loves sorting cows and speed events. She is a Buck Brannaman devotee and clinic participant. Susan’s grandparents owned an avocado orchard in San Juan and her dream as a little girl was to live in San Juan and ride in the Swallow’s Day Parade- done and done! The UC Davis alumni went to college to become a veterinarian, came out a social worker, go figure…Go Aggies!
